Opened a new year 2019. Official Honor launched its newest smartphone, the Honor Play 8A. maybe the naming of this smartphone is rather surprising to us. Because information from the leak circulating since last month is Honor reportedly will introduce Honor 8A, and it turns out that Play 8A.
A number of parties attributed the change to the smartphone model's name due to the emergence of Xiomi's newest smartphone, Xiomi Mi Play. Not just similar to the physical outside and the language of the design, but it has some similarities in its specifications.
The specifications in the Honor Play 8A stretch began with the use of a 6.09 inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels, with a water drop notch design. Its performance relies on the new tech chipset, the helicopter P35 MT6765 made by tek media, which is manufactured with 12 mm technology (built with the architecture of the octa-core cortex-A53 processor at a maximum speed of 2.3 Ghz) and supported by GPU Power VR GE8320 graphics performance. If you are observant, the Chipset is exactly the same as that used in Xiomi Mi Play.
The use of tex Helio P35 MT6765 octa core Media processor on this smartphone, paired with 3 GB RAM, and several internal memory storage options namely 32 GB or 64 GB, which can be expanded through microSD. Smartphone that adopts EMUI 9.0 and runs Android OS v9.0 pie is equipped with the main camera settings with a resolution of 13 MP f / 1.8 with PDAF. At the front there is an 8 MP resolution selfi camera.
This device is supported by a 3,020 mAh battery with support for charging using the USB Type-C port. but it is not clearly explained whether this smartphone will be supported by super fast charging features or not. Most connectivity options are provided such as Bluetooth, Wi-fi ac, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. But it should be noted, that it is not like the microUSB port that is still presented at Xiomi Mi Play, the Honor Play 8A has supported a type-C USB port.
On the back side, the Honor Play 8A also has some similarities with Xiomi Mi Play. This smartphone only has one camera, it doesn't have a fingerprint scanner (you can use face unlock instead) and honor has a two-tone design on the case. This honor 8 play has dimensions measuring 156.28 x 73.5 x 8.0 mm and weighs 150 grams. The color choices are red, gold, blue and black. The 8A Honor Play is expected to begin shipping on 8 January 2019 with a price range of CNY 799 or equivalent to Rp. 1.7 million.
